How credits work

Credits pay for the assistant, and nothing else.

Credits are spent when the assistant thinks, searches or writes on your behalf. Nothing else in the app touches your balance, so a quiet week of playing from your library costs nothing at all.

How much a single request draws depends on the model behind it and how much reading and searching it takes — a one-line chord question is small, a song nobody has tabbed cleanly is larger. Once you are signed in, your balance and a full history of what was spent live under Credits & billing in the app.

What happens when I run out of credits?
The assistant stops until you top up, and nothing else changes. Your songbook, chord library, transposing, auto-scroll and setlists all keep working exactly as before.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. The free account takes an email address and nothing else.
Is my library really offline?
Yes. Songs you save are stored on the device and the chord catalogue ships with the app, so a rehearsal room with no signal or a phone in flight mode still opens everything you have.
Is this only for guitar?
Today, yes — every chord shape, scale and tab is written for six strings, and we would rather do one instrument properly than several vaguely.
